To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report outlines the results of an investigation into dangerous parking at the junction of Twining Brook Road and Edenbridge Road, Cheadle Hulme.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of a No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the results of an investigation into dangerous parking at the junction of Twining Brook Road and Edenbridge Road, Cheadle Hulme.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve a No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Twining Brook Road and Edenbridge Road, Cheadle Hulme, as set out below, at an approximate cost of £525 to be finded from the Area Committee’s Budget (Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation):-

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

Twining Brook Road, Cheadle Hulme - both sides, from the easterly kerb line with Edenbridge Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.

Twining Brook Road, Cheadle Hulme - east side, from the southerly kerb line of Twining Brook Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

Edenbridge Road, Cheadle Hulme - east side, from the northerly kerb line of Twining Brook Road for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
