To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report outlines an event application received from Marple Carnival Charities Committee for the use of Marple Memorial Park and Brabyns Park between 16th and 19th June, with the main event and fairground attractions being held on 18th June 2016.

The Area Committee are requested to determine if they wish to approve the application.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider an event application received from Marple Carnival Charities Committee to hold their annual Carnival event at Marple Memorial Park and Brabyns Park which would take place on Saturday 18 June 2016. Permission is sought to use both parks between 16^th and 19^th June 2016 to enable event set up and event drop.

RESOLVED – That the application from Marple Carnival Charities Committee to hold their annual Carnival event at Marple Memorial Park and Brabyns Park which will take place on Saturday 18 June 2016 (full permission to fun from 16-19 June 2016 to enable event set up and event drop) be approved.
