To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report outlines the results of an investigation into parking concerns adjacent to the parade of local shops on Silverdale Road, Gatley (property numbers 75-109).

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of a Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the results of an investigation into parking concerns adjacent to the parade of local shops on Silverdale Road, Gatley (property numbers 75-109).

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve a Traffic Regulation Order on Silverdale Road, Gatley, as set out below, at an approximate cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-

Proposed Loading Only Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Silverdale Road, Gatley - east side, from a point 58.5 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Kendal Drive for a distance of 3.5 metres in a southerly direction (outside 99 Silverdale Road).

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order made.
