The Area Committee is asked to appoint councillors to lay a wreath on behalf of the Council at Remembrance Day Service at Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green War Memorials on Sunday, 8 November 2015.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to nominate Councillors to lay wreaths on behalf of the Council at the Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green War Memorials

RESOLVED - That the following Councillors be appointed to lay wreaths on behalf of the Council at Remembrance Day Services at Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green War Memorials on Sunday, 8 November 2015:-

Cheadle War Memorial         –    Councillor Keith Holloway

Gatley War Memorial            –    Councillor Graham Greenhalgh

Heald Green War Memorial  –    Councillor Peter Burns
