RESOLVED – (8 for, 4 against) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be authorised to determine the application subject to the receipt of confirmation from the Environment Agency that the proposed development would not result in an unacceptable loss of flood plain and that should advice to contrary be received, the application be remitted back to the Committee for determination.

RESOLVED – (8 for, 1 against, 2 abstentions) That consideration of this application be deferred to the next meeting of the Committee pending the submission of further information relating to the viability of the delivery of the proposed additional car parking.

RESOLVED – That the Planning and Highways Visiting Team be requested to undertake a site visit to assess the impact of the proposed development on the amenity of local residents, in respect to parking and highways issues and in respect to the removal of trees and the suitability of proposed screening.
