To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services

The report considers a request from an existing cemetery Deed of Allotment holder to purchase the land for ongoing use as a private cemetery.

The Area Committee is requested to note the contents of the report and provide any comments on the proposal to offer the sale of the sire as shown on the plan attached to the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) regarding a request from an existing cemetery Deed of Allotment holder at Park Road Cemetery, Cheadle to purchase the land for ongoing use as a private cemetery.

RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services be advised that the Area Committee supports the request from an existing cemetery Deed of Allotment holder at Park Road Cemetery, Cheadle to purchase the land for ongoing use as a private cemetery.
