To consider a joint report of the Executive Councillor (Support & Governance) and (Thriving Economy)

The report sets out the basis for the participation of the Council in potential further town centre investment.

The Executive approve the recommendations set out in the report.

A joint report of the Executive Councillor (Support & Governance) and

(Thriving Economy) was submitted (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Executive to consider a proposal for the participation of the Council in potential further town centre investment and the basis for that.

(NOTE: the report contained information ‘not for publication’ that was circulated to executive councillors only)

RESOLVED – That in relation to the proposals set out in the report:-

·         approval be given to progressing the proposals, noting that any decision be subject to further reports to the relevant Scrutiny Committee and the Executive;

·         the Chief Executive, Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services and Corporate Director Place Management and Regeneration in consultation with the Leader of the Council and Executive Councillors (Support & Governance) and (Thriving Economy) be authorised to take the steps set out in the report to progress the proposal, subject to the resolution above.
