To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report outlines the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on Friday 6th March 2015.

The Area Committee is recommended to:-

(1)        Comment on and note the findings of the Review of Outcomes Tour held on 6 March 2015.

(2)        Note that it is proposed to hold the next Review of Outcomes Tour on Friday, 6 November 2015; and to:-

(i)            nominate a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour.

(ii)          nominate Members to attend the Annual Review Tour.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on Friday, 6 March 2015.

It was further reported that it was proposed to hold the 2015 Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 6 March 2015 and that the Area Committee was requested to submit a recommendation for a completed development site within the Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South area to be included on the list of sites to be inspected by the Tour delegates.  In addition the Area Committee was also asked to provide nominations for delegates to attend.

RESOLVED – (1) That the findings of the Review of Outcomes Tour undertaken on Friday, 6 March 2015 be noted.

(2) That the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour be requested to inspect the AVRO Heritage Museum, Woodford.

(3) That Councillors Holt, Vine and Wyatt be nominated to attend the Tour.

(2) That the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee be recommended to visit one or more of the following sites:-

·         Hopes Carr, Stockport – residential development

·         S Park business park, Stockport– office development

(3) That Councillor Sue Derbyshire be nominated to attend the Tour in addition to those Members of the Area Committee who serve on the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee.

(4) That a report be submitted to a future meeting of the Area Committee regarding the standards required to be met by developers when office blocks are converted to residential properties, for example at Hygarth House on Wellington Road  South, Stockport.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the findings of the review of outcomes tour held in March 2015, requesting the Area Committee to nominate a site for the next tour in November 2015 and requesting the nomination of Councillors to take part in the tour.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Visiting Team be recommended to visit either the Morris Homes development on the Coppice Estate or the Cataract Bridge Mill development on Longhurst Lane.

(2) That Councillors Geoff Abell, Kenny Blair and Annette Finnie be nominated to take part in the tour.

RESOLVED – (1) That consideration of the report be deferred to enable the Area Committee to consider further which site they wish to nominate and which Councillors wish to attend the next site.

(2) That the Corporate Director be requested to further advise Area Committees in future on the criteria for selecting an appropriate site in the context of the questions that Councillors are asked to consider during the Review of Outcomes Tour.

(2) That the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour be requested to inspect the residential development at 2 Sandy Lane, Romiley.

(3) That Councillors Gordon, Lees and Lloyd be nominated to attend the Tour.

To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report outlines the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on Friday 6th March 2015.

The Committee is recommended to:-

(i)            note the findings of the tour and refers the report to all Area Committees.

(ii)          agree to the next Review Tour to be held on Friday, 6 November 2015 and requests the Corporate Director to make the necessary arrangements.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on Friday, 6 March 2015 and detailing proposals to hold the 2015 Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on Friday, 6 November 2015.

RESOLVED - (1) That the report be noted.

(2) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be authorised to make the necessary arrangements for the Review of Outcomes Tour to take place on Friday, 6 November 2015.

(3) That the Democratic Services Manager be requested to place an item on the agenda for the next cycle of Area Committees to request the nomination of a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour and that each Area Committee nominates Members to attend the Tour.
