An application has been received from More Play More Often CIC to request permission to hold the annual National Play Day event at Torkington Park on Wednesday 5th August 2015.
The Area Committee is recommended to approve application subject to the production of appropriate paperwork including risk assessment.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider an application from More Play More Often CIC to use Torkington Park on 5 August 2015 for the annual National Play Day event.
RESOLVED – That the application from More Play More Often CIC to use Torkington Park on 5 August for a National Play Day event be approved, subject to the receipt of appropriate documentation, including a risk assessment.
