In respect of plan no. 57255 for two storey extensions to both sides, two storey extensions to front, part two storey part single storey rear extension and increase in roof height (amended description) at 10 Delamere Road. Gatley, it was

RESOLVED – That planning permission be refused on the ground that the proposed development would have an overbearing impact on the adjacent property at 14 Darley Avenue and would therefore be contrary to Saved Policy CDH1.8 and Policy SIE-1.

RESOLVED – That the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee be recommended to undertake a site visit in order to assess where the extension would extend to and that the Area Committee requests that the site of the proposed development be ‘pegged out’.
