In connection with construction of five no. cottages with associated car parking, landscaping and boundary treatment.

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission subject to appropriate arrangements for the collection of a commuted sum in respect of the provision and maintenance of open space and conditional control, the payment of a financial contribution of £1,500 to fund amendments to the existing Traffic Regulation Order on Church Street and conditional control.

a member of the public spoke against the application and a representative of the applicant spoke in support of the application,

RESOLVED – That the Planning and Highways visiting team be requested to undertake a site visit to address the Area Committee’s concerns on the proposed development in respect to the potential for overdevelopment at the site and parking provision.
