To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report considers the findings of a consultation exercise following concerns expressed regarding parked vehicles causing safety issues on roads in the vicinity of Etchells Primary School, Heald Green.

 The Area Committee is recommended to approve the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the report.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) in connection with the findings of a consultation exercise following concerns expressed regarding parked vehicles causing safety issues on roads in the vicinity of Etchells Primary School, Heald Green.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the following Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £600 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Heald Green Ward allocation):-

Revocation of No Waiting Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm

Merwood Avenue, Heald Green - north side, from the easterly kerb line of East Avenue for a distance of 16.5 metres in an easterly direction.

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

Merwood Avenue, Heald Green - north side, from the easterly kerb line of East Avenue for a distance of 16.5 metres in an easterly direction.

Merwood Avenue, Heald Green - south side, from the easterly kerb line of East Avenue for a distance of 15.5 metres in an easterly direction.

East Avenue, Heald Green - east side, from a point 18 metres north of the northerly kerb line of Merwood Avenue to a point 20 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Merwood Avenue.

          East Avenue, Heald Green - west side, from a point 5.5 metres north of the projected northerly kerb of Merwood Avenue for a distance of 23 metres in a southerly direction.

East Avenue, Heald Green - west side, from a point 43 metres south of the projected southerly kerb line of Merwood Avenue for a distance of 46 metres in a southerly then south westerly direction.
