To consider a joint report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration and the Council Solicitor.

 

The report details an objection received to a proposed Traffic Regulation Order at Oakwood Road, Romiley.

 

The Area Committee is recommended give approval to the amendment of the Traffic Regulation Order to give effect to that scheme identified as Option 2 in the report in the light of the objection received to the proposal as advertised.

Minutes:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a joint report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration and the Council Solicitor (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an objection that had been received to a proposed Traffic Regulation Order at Oakwood Road, Romiley.

 

RESOLVED – That in the light of the objection, the Order be amended as follows:-

 

Oakwood Road, Romiley

 

Revocation of No Waiting At Any Time

 

The west side from a point 15 metres south of the southern kerb line of Compstall Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction.

 

Proposed No Loading At Any Time

 

The west side from the southern kerb line of Compstall Road for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction.

 

The west side from a point 27 metres south of the southern kerb line of Compstall Road for a distance of 70 metres in a southerly direction.

 

The east side from the southern kerb line of Compstall Road for a distance of 185 metres in a southerly direction.

 

Proposed ‘Goods Vehicles Loading Only’

 

The west side from a point 15 metres south of the southern kerb line of Compstall Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction.
