To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report requests the Area Committee to consider the use of commuted sums for play provision in the Marple Area Committee area and approve locations of play areas where these sums are to be spent.

The Area Committee is requested to consider the options as detailed in the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to give consideration to the spending of commuted sums in Parks or play areas.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the spending of the following commuted sums to the park/play areas indicated:-

Brabyns Park - £167.31

Cromwell Avenue Play area - £31,317.89

Marple Memorial Park - £669.24

Mount Drive Play area - £1338.48

Strines Road Play area - £2509.65
