The report recommends the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) to approve the introduction of a new bus stop bench on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green in the vicinity of Long Lane United Reformed Church.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) seeking support for the reinstatement of a bus stop bench on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green in the vicinity of Long Lane United Reformed Church.

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Economic Development and Regeneration) be recommended to approve the works for the reinstatement of a bus stop bench on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green, as detailed in paragraph 2.4 of the report, at an approximate cost of £1,897 to be funded jointly from the Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Heald Green Ward allocation) and the Strategic Route Budget, with 50% of the cost being met from each of those budgets.
