To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report outlines a proposal to revoke the existing restrictions on Amlwch Avenue and introduce new restrictions as part of the Offerton Precinct Redevelopment.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the proposals detailed in the report.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider revised proposals for the waiting restrictions on Amlwch Avenue, Offerton in connection to the Offerton Precinct Redevelopment. The proposals had previously been considered by the Area Committee at its last meeting but due to errors in the drafting of the report incorrect measurements had been included.

RESOLVED – That the previously agreed Traffic Regulation Order for Amlwich Avenue be rescinded and the following revised proposal be approved, the cost of which would be met by the Developer of the former Offerton Precinct as part of the Developer Agreement:-

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am – 6.30pm:

Amlwch Avenue

All parts of the order relating to the previous layout of Amlwch Avenue.

Introduce No Waiting at Any Time:

Amlwch Avenue

North side from the Easterly kerb line of Lisburne Lane for a distance of 12 metres in an Easterly direction and from a point 26.5 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Lisburne Lane for a distance of 16 metres in an Easterly direction.

South side from the Easterly kerb line of Lisburne Lane for a distance of 42.5 metres in an Easterly direction.

East side from the Northerly kerb line of Amlwch Avenue in a North Easterly direction to the start of the lay-by fronting No. 128 (a distance of approx. 10 metres).

Introduce Limited Waiting 1 Hour 30 Minutes Monday to Saturday 8am – 10pm and Sunday 9am – 5pm No Return within 1 Hour (6 Parking Bays, 2.4 x 5 metres, Perpendicular to the kerb):

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider proposals to revoke existing waiting restrictions and introduce new restrictions to facilitate the redevelopment of Offerton Precinct.
