To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management).

 

The report details proposals for minor civil engineering works to reduce the highway width at the junction of Brookdale Road and Fir Road, Bramhall.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the following scheme (subject to a consultation with local residents) at a cost of £8,300 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Bramhall North ward allocation)

 

Fir Road/ Brookdale Road

Reduce the highway width of the Fir Road/ Brookdale Road junction by building out the existing kerb lines with an in line pedestrian dropped crossing and tactile paving.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Service Director (Place Management) (copies of which had been circulated) detailing proposals for minor civil engineering works to reduce the highway width at the junction of Brookdale Road and Fir Road, Bramhall.
