To consider a Report of the Service Director (Place Management).

The report details proposals for the introduction of a Regulatory Give-Way road sign on Dairyground Road, Bramhall so as to complement the existing and proposed road markings to heighten the junction visibility and the need for vehicles to give-way.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the introduction of a Regulatory Give-Way sign on Dairyground Road at its junction with Ladythorn Road, Bramhall.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Service Director (Place Management) (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider proposals to introduce measures to improve road safety at the junction of Dairyground Road and Ladythorn Road, Bramhall.

RESOLVED – That the following be approved, at a cost of £1150 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget (Bramhall North Ward allocation):-

Introduction of an illuminated Regulatory Give-Way sign on Dairyground Road at its junction with Ladythorn Road, Bramhall.
