5th Cheadle Hulme Scout and Guide Hut is asking for £1500 from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust towards the cost of replacing flood damaged flooring in the main hall of the hut to enable safe and continued use of the hut by the scout and guide groups, as well as the wider community.

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted an application received on behalf of 5th Cheadle Hulme Scout and Guide Hut (copies of which had been circulated) which sought funding towards the cost of replacing flood damaged flooring in the main hall of the hut to enable safe and continued use of the hut by the scout and guide groups, as well as the wider community.

The applicant attended the meeting to speak to the application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from 5th Cheadle Hulme Scout and Guide Hut for a grant of £1500 from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust towards the cost of replacing flood damaged flooring in the main hall of the hut to enable safe and continued use of the hut by the scout and guide groups, as well as the wider community.
