To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management).

 

The report details a proposal to introduce a No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Barrack Hill Close, Bredbury.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the following scheme and that the Executive Councillor (Economic Development and Regeneration) gives approval to that element of the scheme that fell within 15 metres of the kerb line of a strategic or district distributor route:-

Barrack Hill Close, Bredbury

North side from a point approximately 4.6 metres east of the eastern kerb line of George Lane (to tie in with existing restrictions) for a distance of approximately 56 metres in an easterly direction (including the southerly return).

 

South side from its junction with George Lane for a distance of approx.  47 metres in an easterly direction.

 

George Lane, Bredbury

East side from the southerly boundary line of Barrack Hill Close for a distance of 3.5 metres in a southerly direction.

A representative of the Service Director (Place Management) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing proposals to introduce a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Barrack Hill Close, Bredbury.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Economic Development and Regeneration) be recommended to give approval to the following scheme at a cost of £600 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget:-
