To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management).

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise in respect of the revocation and introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders at the junction of Heathbank Road / Highfield Road / Claremont Road and Heathbank Road / Nursery Road, Cheadle Hulme.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to a package of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated revocations as detailed in the report.

A representative of the Service Director (Place Management) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise in respect of the revocation and introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders at the junction of Heathbank Road / Highfield Road / Claremont Road and Heathbank Road / Nursery Road, Cheadle Hulme.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the following scheme at a cost of £850 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme South Ward allocation):-

Revocation of No Waiting Monday – Friday 8am – 6.30pm

Heathbank Road, Cheadle Hulme, north west side, from a point 20 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Highfield Road to a point 15 metres south west of the south westerly kerb line of Highfield Road.

Heathbank Road, Cheadle Hulme, south east side, from a point 15 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Claremont Road to a point 20 metres south west of the south westerly kerb line of Claremont Road.

Claremont Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides from the south easterly kerb line of Heathbank Road for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.

Highfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides, from the north westerly kerb line of Heathbank Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

Highfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Southdown Crescent to a point 25 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Southdown Crescent.

Southdown Crescent, Cheadle Hulme, both sides from the south westerly kerb line of Highfield Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction.

Highfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides, from the north westerly kerb line of Heathbank Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

Highfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Southdown Crescent to a point 25 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Southdown Crescent.

Southdown Crescent, Cheadle Hulme, both sides from the south westerly kerb line of Highfield Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction.

Nursery Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides from the north westerly kerb line of Heathbank Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
