The report summarises six objections received to the proposed Order to introduce Waiting Restrictions on Newbourne Close, Hazel Grove.

 

In view of the objections received, and in order to introduce a reduced scheme and extend the double yellow lines on the north side of the road only, the Area Committee is recommended to request that the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) approves the introduction of the proposed traffic regulation orders as detailed below:-

 

Newbourne Close

 

North side from a point 10 metres from Bramhall Moor Lane for a distance of 36.5 metres in an south-easterly direction

A joint report of the Service Directors (Legal & Democratic Services) and (Place Management) was submitted (copies of which had been circulated) informing the Area Committee of objections received to proposals to introduce waiting restrictions on both sides of Newbourne Close, Hazel Grove in order to improve access for emergency vehicles and other vehicles.

 

RESOLVED – That in light of the objections received, the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) be recommended to approve the reduced Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the report.

The report sets out proposals to extend the No Waiting At Any Time waiting restrictions at Newbourne Close as shown on Appendix 2 of the report to improve access to the properties.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to request that the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) approves the introduction of the proposed traffic regulation orders as detailed in Schedule 1 to this report.

A representative of the Service Director (Place Management) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a proposal to extend No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on Newbourne Close, Hazel Grove to improve access for waste collection vehicles, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) be recommended to approve the introduction of the following Traffic Regulation Order:-

 

No Waiting At Any Time

 

Newbourne Close

 

North side from a point 10 metres from Bramhall Moor Lane for a distance of 36.5metres in a south-easterly direction

 

South side from a point 10 metres from Bramhall Moor Lane for a distance of 27.5metres in a south-easterly direction
