To consider a report of the Deputy Chief Executive.

The report details a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes on Friday, 24 November 2023.

The Area Committee is recommended to:-

(1) Nominate a recently completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour.

(2) Nominate Members to attend the Annual Review of Outcome Tour.

(NOTE: The Chair was of the opinion that this item, although not included on the agenda, should be considered as a matter of urgency in accordance with Section 100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972 to enable the Area Committee to make nominations for the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour sufficiently in advance of the proposed date of the Tour to enable the necessary logistical arrangements to be made).

A representative of the Assistant Director – Legal & Democratic Governance (Monitoring Officer) submitted a report on behalf of the Deputy Chief Executive (copies of which have been circulated) detailing a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on Friday 24 November 2023.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Scholars Green development on Hulme Hall Road, school at Woodford Garden Village and care home on Robins Lane be nominated to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour.

(2) That Members be nominated to attend the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour in due course.

It is recommended that the Area Committee:

(1) Nominate of a recently completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour; and

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes on Friday 24 November 2023.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Battersby Hat Factory be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour; and

(2) That Councillor Charlie Stewart attend the Annual Review of Outcome Tour.

Members suggested that Marple Dale and Orford Close/Buxton Lane would be the proposed sites.

RESOLVED – (1) That Marple Dale be nominated, and that Members would assess whether Orford Close/Buxton Lane was ready and would confirm by email the proposed site to be nominated to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour.

(2) That Councillors Steve Gribbon and Becky Senior be nominated to attend the Review of Outcomes Tour.

(1) Nominate a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the 2023 Annual Review Tour; and

(2) Nominate Members to attend the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 24 November 2023.

(3) That consideration of the nomination of councillors to attend the Tour be deferred to the next meeting.

It is recommended that the Area Committee:-

(1) Nominate of a recently completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour; and

(2) Nominate Members to attend the Annual Review of Outcome Tour.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which have been circulated) which announced the intention to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes on Friday 24^th November 2023.

RESOLVED – (1) That two sites be nominated in the following order of priority: -

(i)            The Woodlands, Woodlands Road, Heaton Mersey, SK4 3BN; and

(ii)          "The Chimneys" on Lancashire Hill.

(2)  That Councillor Frizzell be nominated as the delegate to attend.

(1) Nominate a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the 2023 Annual Review Tour; and

(2) Nominate Members to attend the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 24 November 2023.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes on Friday 24 November 2023.

Members requested that a list of proposed sites be included in next year’s annual review of outcomes report.

RESOLVED – (1) That the development of the former Cow and Calf Hotel site, Bredbury, be nominated to be included on the list of sites to be inspected subject to the development having been completed by the date of the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour.

(2) That the development at Bredbury St Mark’s Cricket Club be nominated as an alternative in the eventuality that it was not possible to visit the above proposed site.

(3) That Councillors Sue Thorpe and Rosemary Barratt be nominated to attend the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour.
