The Director of Public Health submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the Stockport data about the trends in mortality, and about possible reasons for the excess deaths in 2022.
The Board welcomed the report, thanked officers for the level of detail and evidence provided and noted the importance of the preventative services across Public Health and Adult Social Care. In response, it was commented that the intelligence gathered from the JSNA would be used to inform and design the various programmes of work including health and integration and the ONE Stockport Health & Care Locality Board.
RESOLVED – That the report be noted.
