The report provides an overview of complaints received in the first quarter of 2012/13 and covers the following complaints procedures:
· Corporate Complaints.
· Adult Social Care Complaints.
· Children’s Social Care Complaints.
· Stockport Homes’ complaints
· Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) complaints.
The report also outlines lessons learnt as a result of complaints.
The Executive is asked to:
· Review performance information contained in this report, and
· Comment on the performance measures reported and suggest any additional information that might be collected in future.

The Executive Councillor (Governance & Corporate Services) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Executive Meeting to consider an overview of complaints received in the first quarter of 2012/13, including comparisons with previous quarters and the lessons learnt from these complaints.
RESOLVED – That performance in relation to complaints received in the first quarter of 2012/13 be noted.
