To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

An application has been received from The Gatley Carnival Committee to hold the Gatley Festival (Family Funday) at Gatley Hill on the 2 July 2023 (access from 6:00 hours on 29 June 2023, and to vacate by 17:00 hours on 4 July 2023.

 

The Area Committee is requested to grant the application subject to the event organiser obtaining the correct permissions, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and payment of agreed fees and charges.

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal and Democratic Governance submitted a report of the Director of Place Management (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an application from The Gatley Carnival Committee to hold the Gatley Festival (Family Funday) at Gatley Hill on the 2 July 2023.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application received from the Gatley Carnival Committee to hold the Gatley Festival (Family Funday) at Gatley Hill on the 2 July 2023 (access from 6:00 hours on 29 June 2023, and to vacate by 17:00 hours on 4 July 2023), subject to the event organiser obtaining the correct permissions, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and payment of agreed fees and charges.
