To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

The report provides results of a consultation on the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) proposals for Dale Street, Edgeley, and seeks approval for the scheme. It is proposed that the scheme be funded by the Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) and Transforming Cities Funding.

A representative of the Director of Place Management submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing the results of a consultation on the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement proposals for Dale Street, Edgeley and sought approval for the scheme.

It was suggested that bollards be introduced at the junction of Vienna Road and Dale Street to protect tactile paving, and that a report be provided to the Area Committee on this matter.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the proposals for Dale Street, Edgeley, including the legal advertisement of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, that the orders be made (to be funded from the Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement and Transforming Cities Funding):

Vienna Road, both sides - From the projected westerly kerbline of Dale Street for a distance of 6m in a westerly direction

Dale Street, west side - From a point 8.5m south of the projected southern kerbline of Vienna Road to a point 16m north of the projected northern kerbline of Vienna Road

Dale Street, east side From a point 12m south of the projected southern kerbline of Vienna Road to a point 16m north of the projected northern kerbline of Vienna Road
