To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

The report provides results of a consultation on the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) proposals for Siddington Avenue, Adswood, and seeks approval for the scheme. It is proposed that the schemes be funded by the Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) and Transforming Cities Funding.

A representative of the Director of Place Management submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing the results of a consultation on the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement proposals for Siddington Avenue, Adswood and sought approval for the scheme.

RESOLVED - The Area Committee were minded to give approval to the following proposals for Siddington Avenue, Adswood (to be funded from the Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement and Transforming Cities Funding):

·         New ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions at the junction of Siddington Avenue/Stirling Close/Wrenbury Crescent.

·         New ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions at the junction of Siddington Avenue/Lymm Close/Astbury Crescent.

·         Bollards to be installed on the southern side of the Siddington Avenue/Astbury Crescent junction.

·         Dropped kerbs and tactile paving to be provided at side roads along Siddington Avenue.
