An application has been received from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to host their annual half-marathon event on Sunday 3 September 2023 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between the Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester. The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm (set up from 9am).
The Area Committee is recommended to approve the application received from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to host their annual half-marathon event on Sunday 3 September 2023 (from 9.30am to 12.30pm, set up from 9am), subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licenses, insurances and any fees and charges that apply.

A representative of the Director of Place Management submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an application received from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to host their annual half-marathon event on Sunday 3 September 2023 from 9.30am to 12.30pm, set up from 9am.
RESOLVED – That the application be granted subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licenses, insurances and any fees and charges that apply.
