To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and seeks Cabinet Member approval for the introduction of a ‘Prohibition to Motor Vehicles’ together with associated Traffic Regulation Order.

 

The Area Committee is requested to consider the proposals and recommend that the Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks and Leisure Services approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the order be made (at a total cost of £850, to be funded from the Edgeley & Cheadle Heath ward allocation).

 

Prohibition of Motor Vehicles

 

Moseley Street, Edgeley

Both directions from a point 5m north west of its junction with Bengal Street for a distance of 6m in a north westerly direction.

 

No Waiting At Any Time

 

Moseley Street, Edgeley

North East side from its junction with Bengal St in a north westerly direction for a distance of 10m.

A representative of the Director of Place Management submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) reporting the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking Cabinet member approval for the introduction of a ‘Prohibition to Motor Vehicles’ together with ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Moseley Street, Edgeley.

 

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks and Leisure Services be recommended to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the order be made (at a total cost of £850, to be funded from the Edgeley & Cheadle Heath ward allocation):
