Criterion Street & Middleton Road, Reddish

To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

The report details a proposal to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Criterion Street and Middleton Road in Reddish.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Reddish North ward allocation):-

No Waiting at Any Time:

Criterion Street

West side, from a point 15.5 metres North of the (projected) Northern kerb line of Middleton Road in a Southerly direction to a point 11 metres South of the (projected) Southern kerb line of Middleton Road.

East side, from a point 10 metres North of the Northern kerb line of Middleton Road in a Southerly direction to a point 10 metres South of the Southern kerb line of Middleton Road.

Middleton Road

Both sides from the Eastern kerb line of Criterion Street in an Easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

A representative of the Assistant Director – Legal and Democratic Governance submitted a report of the Director of Place Management (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Criterion Street and Middleton Road in Reddish.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Reddish North ward allocation):-
