To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and seeks approval for the introduction of a Moving Traffic Regulation Order ‘20mph Speed Limit’ on Bridle Road & Bridle Way, Woodford and Traffic Regulation Order ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ on the junction of Bridle Road/Chester Road, Woodford.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to request that the Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks & Leisure Services gives approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and Moving Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £4,500 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall South & Woodford ward allocation):-

Bridle Road, Woodford (Both Sides)

From its intersection with the south eastern kerbline of Chester Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Chester Road (South East Side)

From a point 15 metres south west of the projected south west kerbline of Bridle Road to a point 25 metres north east of the projected north east kerb line of Bridle Road.

 

20mph Speed Limit

 

Bridle Road, Woodford (Both Directions)

For its entire length.

 

Bridle Way, Woodford (Both Directions)

For its entire length.

A representative of the Assistant Director - Legal & Democratic Governance submitted a report of the Director of Place Management (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking approval for the introduction of a Moving Traffic Regulation Order ‘20mph Speed Limit’ on Bridle Road & Bridle Way, Woodford and Traffic Regulation Order ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ on the junction of Bridle Road/Chester Road, Woodford.
