To consider an application for Ward Flexibility Funding received from Make a Difference for a grant of £500 from the Reddish South ward allocation only towards the cost of running arts and crafts sessions at a wellbeing café, which will support people in isolation, the elderly and those with poor physical and mental health.

A representative of the Strategic Head of Service (Legal & Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer) submitted an application on behalf of Make a Difference for a grant from the Ward Flexibility Funding Budget towards the cost of running arts and crafts sessions at a wellbeing café, which will support people in isolation, the elderly and those with poor physical and mental health.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application from Make a Difference for an increased grant of £1,000 (£250 from Reddish South, £250 from Reddish North, £250 from Heatons South and £250 from Heatons North ward allocations towards the cost of running arts and crafts sessions at a wellbeing café, which will support people in isolation, the elderly and those with poor physical and mental health.
