Public Service Infrastructure - Demolition of existing buildings on site and construction of a part-one, part-two storey SEN Secondary School with associated landscaping, MUGA, playspace and parking.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission subject to:-

 

a.    conditions;

 

b.    a Section 111 Agreement to secure developer contributions toward highways improvements;

 

c.    no objections being raised by specialist consultees in respect of biodiversity;

 

d.    resolution of the Highways Engineer’s request for additional information in support of the Transport Assessment and minor amendment to show an increased parking provision; and

 

e.    resolution of the queries raised regarding the use of renewable and low carbon energies and the potential to retrofit these.

RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services & Deputy Chief Executive be authorised to determine the application subject to the applicant entering into a Section 111 Agreement, another appropriate legal agreement, or condition, to secure developer contributions toward highways improvements and biodiversity net gain.
