To consider a report of the Director for Place Management.
The report provides the details of an event application that has been received from Etherow Country Park Sailing Club (ECPSC) to hold a Lights Over the Water Community Event at Etherow Park Saturday 12 November 2022. The event will run from 6pm until 9pm on the 12 November 2022. Permission has been requested to use the park until 11pm to close the event.
The Area Committee is asked to approve the application subject to all appropriate paperwork, licences and fees being submitted to the council.

A representative of the Strategic Head of Service (Legal & Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer) submitted a report of the Director of Place Management (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an application from Etherow Sailing Club to hold a Lights Over the Water Community Event at Etherow Park Saturday 12 November 2022. The event will run from 6pm until 9pm on the 12 November 2022. Permission has been requested to use the park until 11pm to close the event.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application from Etherow Country Park Sailing Club to hold a Lights Over the Water Community Event at Etherow Park Saturday 12 November 2022. The event will run from 6pm until 9pm on the 12 November 2022. Permission has been requested to use the park until 11pm to close the event.
