Purpose:

To consider the first phase consultation process and its key outcomes; to consider the development of the emerging preferred scheme and the development of the second phase of consultation.

Decision:

The Executive on the 2 April 2013 agreed that the approval of the synopsis of comments and their detailed responses is delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) and that the finalised version is published on the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road website. This is part of the consultation process for the scheme.

 

This document has now been developed and approved by the Chief Executive.

Phase one of the consultation was undertaken across the area adjacent to the scheme. It included 17 days of exhibitions, leaflets to approximately 85000 properties and a dedicated website with a questionnaire response.
