Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has given approval to the installation of the raised platform and that the Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) (Appendix A) and Moving Traffic Regulation Orders (MTRO) (Appendix B):

·         ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

·         20mph Zone (MTRO)

·         7.5t Weight Limit (Except for Access) (MTRO)

at the Bloor Homes Development, Heald Green, be made as originally advertised.

Alternative options considered:

Consideration was given to downgrading some of the proposed double yellow lines to a single yellow line however, this would still hinder vehicle movement including larger vehicles such as, but not limited to refuse vehicles, deliveries, emergency vehicles. Whilst it was not recommended to remove the proposed double yellow lines completely, the extent has been reduced where it was deemed safe to do so.
