The Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has
given approval to the introduction and statutory legal advertising
of the Traffic Regulation Orders at Warren Street, Stockport, and
subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the
advertisement date, that the orders be made (as per the schedule
and associated drawings at Appendix A).

Prohibition of Entry for Motorised Vehicles (Except for Pedal
Cycles)
Warren Street, (South West bound): From a point 12 metres
south-west of the projected south-western kerb line of King Street
East for vehicles travelling in a south-westerly direction for a
distance of 167 metres.
Prohibition of Motorised Vehicles At Any Time (Except for Buses,
Pedal Cycles and Hackney Carriages) & (Loading by Goods
Vehicles between 4pm to 10.30am)
Warren Street, (North East bound): From its intersection
with the projected north-eastern kerb line of Bridge Street to a
point 12 metres south-west of the projected south-western kerb line
of King Street East.
Revocation of Existing Moving Regulation Order:
The Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport (Warren Street,
Stockport) (Prohibition and Restriction of Entry) (Revocation)
Order 2022 – Entire Order.
Whilst preparing a technical report relating
to the Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) on Warren Street, Stockport,
an anomaly within the existing TRO had been found. This amendment
sought to rectify this matter. Without the TRO being amended, there
could be problems with enforcement.
