The Cabinet Members for Parks, Highways & Transport Services has given approval that the existing Traffic Regulation Order for the School Street Scheme at St. Thomas's CoE Primary School, Heaton Chapel, be made permanent:

Prohibition of Driving (Except for Permit Holders) when signage is in place between the hours of 8.30am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm, Monday to Friday.

 

St. Thomas’s Infant School, Heaton Chapel

Buckingham Road from the junction with Wellington Road North up to the junction with Chandos Road with no left or right turns from Wellington Road North onto Buckingham Road to drop off/pick up children at the school entrance. Advance warning signs on the A6 would be in place.

 

St. Thomas’s Junior School, Heaton Chapel

Tatton Road North from the junction with Clarence Road along Buckingham Road to a point before the junction with Peel Moat Road.

Brownsville Road from the junction with Clarence Road to Buckingham Road.
