The Area Committee has declined to make a grant to Help the Hatters on this occasion on the grounds that the applicant had received funds from the Ward Flexibility Budget for a similar initiative in the previous municipal year and it was felt that elements of the proposed activity were not in keeping with the spirit of the funding guidelines.
