The Area Committee has given approval to the installation of Illuminated Give Way Signage on Bloom Street, Edgeley at the junctions of Farr Street and Earl Street (as shown on Drawing No. NM36/ Bloom Street) at a total cost of £5,800, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Edgeley and Cheadle Heath ward allocation).
Alternative options considered:
Solar Powered Give Way Signs to provide illumination were considered, however one of the signs would be in the shadow for the majority of the day due to the orientation of the road and distance from the adjacent properties, and was therefore, not recommended.
