The Strategic Head of Service (Legal &
Democratic Governance) has given approval to an application from
Movieland, Brinnington’s Community Cinema for a grant of
£549.50 from the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (Brinnington
and Central ward allocation) towards the cost of providing a
Christmas Special event for families, and providing a hot water
bottle and fleece blanket to each family to enable them to stay
warm in winter.
The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.
