Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Economy & Regeneration has given approval to the introduction of a new signalised junction on Broadstone Road at the junction with Broadstone Hall Road South and Broadstone Hall Road North, Heaton Chapel with new pedestrian and cycle crossing facilities (Toucan crossings) on all arms and the legal advertising of the following associated Traffic Regulation Orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders:-

 

(NOTE: The element of the proposed scheme relating to the introduction of bus stop clearways has been amended since its consideration by the Heatons & Reddish Area Committee on 17 October 2022 to provide for an increase in the length of the bus stop clearway from 17m to 23m)

Broadstone Road (North West Side) - From a point 21 metres southwest of the intersection of the south western kerbline of  Broadstone Hall Road North, to a point 26.5 metres north east of the intersection of the  north eastern kerbline of Broadstone Hall Road North.

 

Broadstone Road (South East Side) - From a point 41 metres southwest of the intersection of the south western kerbline of  Broadstone Hall Road South, to a point 34 metres north east of the intersection of the  north eastern kerbline of Broadstone Hall Road South

 

Broadstone Hall Road North (South West Side) - From the intersection of the north western kerbline of Broadstone Road for a distance of 31 metres in a north westerly direction

 

Broadstone Hall Road North (North East Side) - From the intersection of the north western kerbline of Broadstone Road for a distance of 34 metres in a north westerly direction

 

Broadstone Hall Road South (North East Side) - From the intersection of the south eastern kerbline of Broadstone Road for a distance of 34.5 metres in a south easterly direction

 

Broadstone Hall Road South (South West Side) - From the intersection of the south eastern kerbline of Broadstone Road for a distance of 37 metres in a south easterly direction
