Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks and Leisure Services has given approval to the installation of bollards at the following locations at a cost of £3,500, to be funded from the Heatons & Reddish Area Committee Delegated Budget (Heatons South ward allocation):-

 

Didsbury Road

On either side of the junction at Greenbank Avenue to prevent vehicles parking on the footway build-outs on either arm of the junction; and thereby encourage more shoppers to use the car park on the opposite side

Green Lane

Between the junctions with Ansley Grove and Colenso Grove to prevent vehicles parking on and obstruction the footway. Green Lane leads to Heaton Moor District Centre and additional bollards will improve conditions for pedestrians (Inc. wheelchairs and pushchairs).
