The Area Committee considered and approved a request from the Hazel Grove Carnival Committee to amend their previous permission to hold the Annual Carnival on 11-12 August 2012 rather than 14-15 July as previous agreed. It had been necessary to postpone the event because of the waterlogging on the park caused by recent heavy rain.
