The Corporate Director for Corporate & Support Services and Deputy |Chief Executive has taken urgent action under the constitution to give approval to an application from Cheshire Wildlife Trust to host a two day event in Heaton Norris Park on Saturday 24 September and Sunday 25 September, subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licenses, insurances and any fees and charges that apply.

The Chair of the Central Stockport Area Committee has been consulted on the proposal and has recommended that the application be approved.

The decision has been taken as urgent action as the event is due to take place in advance of the next meeting of the Area Committee and as such, the ordinary approval process could not be followed.
