Decision:
The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has considered a report detailing a request for the use of affordable housing commuted sums to support the delivery of 22 refurbished 1 bed flats alongside Homes England’s Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme (RSAP) funding.
The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has then:-
(1) Given approval to the request for financial assistance of up to £260,000 of commuted sums to be utilised to support Stockport Homes Group (SHG) in the acquisition and refurbishment of 22 one bed properties via Rough Sleepers Accommodation Programme on the basis identified in the report.
(2) Noted that following this approval, the current remaining affordable housing commuted sums held by the Council would be £2,046,451.
