The Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration has considered proposed amendments to the Transportation Capital Programme for 2021/2022 and the identified alternative schemes for the utilisation of this funding, and has given approval to:-
• the movement of funding from the 43 BR Brinnington bridge damage project to cover expenditure in Greenspace Paths work.
• the use of the A34 Safety Barriers underspend and the District and Local Centres accessibility improvement funding which was unassigned to deliver the ancillary MCF schemes.
• the agreement of the Delivery Agreement for Bus Pinch Points.
• the use of unallocated Pothole Challenge Fund money for Public Rights of Way surfacing.
• the use of the funding for Driving Simulator Project to fund the SIDs phase 1.
• the use of the unallocated funding to fund Market and Underbanks public realm improvements.
