The Area Committee has given approval to an application received from the Cash for Kids Charity for a grant of £525 (£175 from each ward allocation) towards the cost of providing Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children in Stockport
Alternative options considered:
To make a grant of £999 (£333 from each ward allocation) as originally applied for. However, in the light of the available budget remaining, and so as to preserve the Committee’s ability to make grants to other organisations, it was agreed that the Committee would fund a reduced sum of the original request.
