The Area Committee has given approval to an application from Marple Sports Club for a grant of £500 from the Ward Flexibility Funding Budget (£250 from each ward allocation) towards the cost of launching their PasSport project which will support more active participation for school age children and young people who need it the most following the Covid pandemic.
Alternative options considered:
To make an allocation of £680 as requested on the application form. However, due to limited amount of funding for the remainder of the municipal year, the Committee approved a reduced amount.
